Der Tübinger Chaostheoretiker Otto E. Rössler gilt in Deutschland als einer der ersten Chaosforscher mit internationalem Ruf. Gegenwärtig interessiert man sich im Ausland für seine Forschungsarbeit mehr als in Deutschland selber. In der Kunstszene gilt er als eine Art «Computerrevolutionär». Rössler wandelt auf Grenzpfaden zwischen Physik und Kunst, Mathematik und Philosophie.
