Haris Epaminonda - Ausschnitte eines ästhetischen Referenzsystems
Die griechisch-zypriotische Künstlerin Haris Epaminonda arbeitet sowohl mit gefundenem historischem Bild- und Filmmaterial als auch mit selbstgedrehten Super 8-Sequenzen. Aus diesen Versatzstücken konstruiert sie assoziative Papier-, Film- und Raum-Collagen und setzt das archäologisch und ethnografisch aufgeladene Material einem zugleich präzisen und vagen ästhetischen Prozess aus. Nach der Bespielung des zypriotischen Pavillons an der 52. Biennale in Venedig, Einzelausstellungen im MoMA New York sowie der Tate London zeigt sie nun im Kunsthaus Zürich ihren neuen Film ‹Chapters›.
