Erstmals überhaupt wird das Schaffen von Hannah Höch, einer Pionierin der Collage, dem avantgardistischen Film der 1920er-Jahre gegenübergestellt. Experimente mit Schnitt und Montage sind beiderseits beliebte Stilmittel, wobei Höchs «Filme auf Papier» eigenwillig subtil bis surreal erscheinen.
