In Biel zeigt der in Zürich und Berlin lebende Künstler Mathis Altmann farblich reduzierte Miniaturwelten in einem grossräumigen Environment. Das Prinzip der Bricolage zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch seine künstlerische Praxis. Seit 2019 ergänzt Altmann, der 2021 den Manor-Kunstpreis des Kantons Zürich erhielt, seine skulpturalen Werke um audiovisuelle Komponenten. In Biel trifft nun Clubbing-Kultur auf neoliberale Verwertungslogik. Die Ausstellung lässt vieles im Vagen, doch beschwört sie subtil die Erinnerung an durchtanzte Nächte.
