Sabina Schumpf

Sabina is a tech-savvy independent registrar and art manager based in Basel, Switzerland.

Her professional path spans over many years of working for major international art galleries in London and Zurich, as well as fine art shippers and Swiss wealth management companies, where she was deeply involved in the administration of private art collections for UHNW individuals, trusts and family offices. Today she makes her experience available to private collectors, artists, galleries, museums and institutions on a freelance basis.

The years spent organising art fairs, exhibitions, private events and managing complex collections have turned Sabina into a very creative problem-solver with a strong knowledge base of contemporary art, its market, logistics and management.

Sabina has a deep-seated interest in technology and its application in the art world. Whether it is a new app, social media, interactive exhibitions, artificial intelligence or the latest innovation in digital inventory management systems, she will get involved with great enthusiasm.

She has a Master’s degree in Art Market from Kingston University in London and a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of Zurich. Sabina communicates fluently in Italian, English and German. She dreams of finding the time to learn Russian one day.
